Thanks for these instructions. As we have purchased the Prusa edition, we do have some parts left over with no instructions. We could figure out how to add the lock, also the gaskets are pretty obvious. What is missing is a hint that the lid - because of the bow introduced to it - will only close tight if the lock gets used (and only in lock position)...
We do have one piece of precision cut wood which definitely looks like it is a regular part of the assembly. It also fits inside nicely. But: It has five holes which have a larger bore on the broader side of the wood. There is also a small plastic bag with three very large screw-like wall plugs and three very long (!) brass screws. The wood, by itself, looks like it is intended as a wall mount for the assembled box, but I have no idea to what kind of wall these wall plugs are intended. If the wood gets fastened to a wall, this would definitely need some washers under the screws or the wood gets damaged. And what is the purpose of the larger bore?
Looking at the box, it seems to be on purpose :-)
Is it correct that the mounting position of the Dome Label appears to be tilted clockwise? The two parallel lines (the upper and lower edge of the adhesive) do not run parallel to the edges of the Faceplate? It looks kind of wrong, but if I align the adhesive to the Faceplate, then the engravings on the top right and lower left side come out visibly from underneath the Dome Label...
In V 2.5.2 the hinges go all the way from one end to the other (so it is just one broad hinge). Therefore the precision spacers are unneeded, and if they have been installed already (which is also done in the video) then they will have to be removed in order to be able to do step 22...
As it turns out, the actual Base Stringer does not seem to be rectangular, it measures a width an the narrowest side of slightly less than 22 millimeters, at the broadest side approx. 26 millimeters! And mine carries a burn mark, a line next to the middle hole. I contacted support on this issue (if it is an issue).
Also it would be VERY helpful if you could double-check that you use colors for parts to be assembled consistently. Here they differ (look at the use of turquios for two different parts in pic 1 & 3!) This is very confusing if two parts are extremely similar like parts 11 & 13. Which one is to be stacked on top of which? Which one comes out to the front and which is on the inner side? Without knowing (and the video doesn't help, because if covers a different version) I have now decided to stack the one that is little broader on top of the one that is a little narrower, in order to close the "gap" at the bottom of the exit panel...
Parts 11 & 13 are extremely similar and easy to confuse - and look very different from what is used in the video...
Protective foil is not on all surfaces. The two bearing the big logos don't (at least not in the Prusa edition!), the lasered surface is unprotected.
Now that is a bigger deviation from the video. Again, not critical, but slightly irritating.
At this point the written instructions differ from the video... (Not very important, but it a small irritation)
